Our popular Rod Hull and Emu costume includes a fantastic retro-looking powder blue suit jacket, a styled replica of the jacket that Rod used to wear during his television appearances. The jacket features collar, lapels, pocket covers, bold blue buttons and professional hem finishing throughout the garment. A really great item that adds to the outfit.
The Rod Hull Emu fancy dress costume also comes with soft padded Emu that is worn over the arm like a sleeve and features long silver and blue strands of tinsel covering the plumage of the bird, big bold eyes, soft neck and amusing hanging orange legs falling from the padded body. You place your hand in the head to control the beak just like Rod used to and bite those around you.
The Emu and Rod Hull costume is completed with a pair of trousers.

A little about Rod Hull and Emu:
Rod Hull, was a popular entertainer on television in the 1970s and 1980s. He was almost always on screen with Emu, a mute, highly aggressive arm-length puppet of the flightless emu bird. However, Hull was careful to tailor its conduct according to his audience, and always ensured that it displayed a friendly demeanor when in the company of children. Our Rod Hull and Emu costume is an excellent reproduction of this popular character.
