The George Dawes costume comes with a soft plush one-piece romper suit in a soft pink colour and is a replica designed on that as worn by Matt Lucas in the BBC TV show Shooting Stars.
The jumpsuit features a soft velveteen feel, front zipper for easy access, embroidered logo on the left chest plus attached hood with bear ears. The jumpsuit is professionally hem finished and is a delight to wear.
Add the bald cap sold separately to give the signature George Dawes hairstyle. You may also wish to source a set of drum sticks so you can drum on people's heads, no doubt much to their delight and mirth.
The George Dawes costume is a fantastic idea for a TV theme party if you have two friends who simply want to wear suits, get them waistcoats, one a pair of glasses and go as Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer and George Dawes. Obviously, you get to go in the George Dawes fancy dress costume.
A little about George Dawes:
George Dawes is best known as the drumming score keeper in the Reeves and Mortimer celebrity game show Shooting Stars. George's Mother, Marjorie Dawes stood in for son George on a few episodes of the BBC2 show. Also played by Matt Lucas, you may remember Marjorie Dawes from Little Britain and later, Little Britain USA.
