Beavis and Butthead Do America Movie Review and Trailer

Coming to a screen bigger than your TV.

Beavis and Butthead do America is the big budget motion picture of the popular 90's MTV cartoon. Written by creator Mike Judge and Joe Stillman, the transition to big screen is a successful one. Some butthole has stolen Beavis and Butthead's TV. They try stealing one from the AV room at their school before Mr. Van Driessen suggests they return it, ignoring the aging hippie the duo manage to destroy the stolen box on the Highland High school steps in front of principal Mc Vicar so he expels them both.

While looking for an open door at a local motel just to watch some TV Beavis and Butthead burst in to Muddy Grimes room voiced by Die Hard actor Bruce Willis. Expecting two hit men sent by his buddy Earl, Muddy is desperate to have his hot wife Dallas whacked. He'll pay ten grand plus expenses to 'do' her in Las Vegas. Misreading the situation B and B think they're literally going to do her and then be able to buy a new TV. This is going to be cool!

Beavis and Butthead meet Dallas played by Mr. Brooks actress Demi Moore, she offers to pay double to 'do' him instead, Beavis sounds interested suggesting that they could try keeping their eyes closed. Dallas hides her deadly top secret X-5 biological weapons device down the back of Beavis' shorts and plans to meet the boys in Washington sending them off on a bus.

With a cavity search obsessed detective now on their tail desperately trying to get the X-5, Beavis and Butthead find themselves cutting off the power to Las Vegas, destroying Tom Anderson's vacation, bonding with some hot nun chicks in New Mexico and even meeting their dads, one of which sounds eerily like the Late Show's David Letterman. Mistaken as dangerous criminal geniuses Beavis and Butthead are wanted by the FBI.

You don't need to be a fan of the show to enjoy the Beavis and Butthead movie but there is a laugh out loud Tom Anderson culmination if you're familiar with the MTV show. Unlike the television show there is actually a storyline.

The Beavis and Butthead film opened at number one at the US box office over the opening weekend. Today, the Internet is still flooded with people searching for information about the film with common misspellings such as Bavis and Butthead, Beavis and Butthed and Bevis and Butthead.

Cornholio, Bill Clinton, a fabulous score and amazing Beavis and Butthead Do America soundtrack sound track plus a happy ending all collaborate to sum up a fantastic movie version of the mindless cartoon series that is still popular and often referenced by Howard Stern today.

Movie Trivia: According to one of the documentaries found in the DVD extras, a Beavis and Butt-head movie was once pitched to Mike Judge which was to be filmed live action starring Chris Farley and David Spade as Beavis and Butthead. In the same documentary it is revealed that the scene where Beavis and Butthead are hallucinating the audio is masked backwards with Beavis sharing the line "I suggest that everyone go to college and study hard".
